Here I am again

We visited Grandma again this week. It was much easier this time than last time. I think it's because her room looks more like her, her home, her house. Before when I saw her, she had just moved in and her room was so institutional that it was depressing. But now, it's like a one room version of her assisted living apartment, which makes it much easier for my mind to accept her current situation.And if my grandma's situation wasn't depressing enough, I just found out today that my neighbor, my surrogate grandmother, has colon cancer. she just got the results of her biopsy back. People just need to stop getting sick...now.
So I'm starting to get my stuff together to move to Columbus. It's exciting and frightening at the same time.
